Dentures / Removable Partial Dentures

Dentures are prosthetic devices constructed to replace missing teeth, and are supported by the surrounding soft and hard tissues of the oral cavity. Removable Partial Dentures are the most cost-effective dental appliance designed to replace missing teeth when a patient can not afford a fixed restoration.

• Acrylic Partial-
Acrylic partials consist of the denture teeth attached to an acrylic base plate. They provide good stability and retention due to the denture fitting closely and tightly against the gums and natural teeth, and the use of wrought metal clasps (retainers) to grip the teeth.

• Metal Framework Partial-
Metal framework partials are based on a precision cast, metal frame. The metal most often used is a very hard chrome/cobalt alloy that allows the framework to be very thin resulting in comfort without the worry of breakage.

• Flexible Partial-
Flexible partial dentures are designed to replace a single tooth or a few teeth rather than a full set of teeth. Rather than connecting to existing teeth with a metal clasp, they also have a comfortable, more aesthetically pleasing flexible metal clasp. This unbreakable thermoplastic won’t absorb moisture, and is stain and odor resistant while allowing us to fabricate partials so thin and translucent that they’re invisible in patients’ mouths.

• Denture-
A complete denture, also known as a full denture, takes up the whole mouth rather than just a part of it. It's a removable device that can be used to replace missing teeth and is used by someone who has lost all of their teeth. Complete dentures are usually made from acrylic.

• Flipper-
A flipper consist of one up to two teeth and is a removable retainer that fits along the roof of your mouth (palate) or sits on your lower jaw.
